Gas - website has wrong settings/advice?

Hi - I am now entering my gas readings as '100ft3' even though my meter says simply 'ft3'.

The reason for this is that if I enter them as 'ft3' the results are way out - with electricity carbon emissions far exceeding gas, even though a) I use gas for all my heating and hot water and b) I also use imeasure and I need to do this to ensure the results are comparable.

What's going on? I can only assume that my meter has the wrong units on it...

Some gas meters are a bit confusing in this way. On many meters that
measure in ft3, the last two digits are in red, which makes you think
that they are after a decimal point, whereas in fact they are not. So,
a reading of 123456 (where 5 and 6 are in red) would be 123456 ft3,
not 1234.56. However, if you've entered your data so far using a
decimal point at the start of the red, you can change your account to
hundred of ft3 (hcf), and it will all work just fine. I'm hoping to
add some pictures of common meters to the site at some point to head
    off these sort of problems.
